Prichard man injured by hit and run driver

No one expects they will be seriously injured while out walking on Mobile area streets. Recently a Prichard man who was walking across the street to get lunch was hit by a car. The man worked at Al’s Tires on St. Stephen’s Rd. and was hit by a blue Chevrolet Silverado pick up. The truck went on to hit another car as well. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is in critical condition. Because of his serious injuries, his leg will have to be amputated. Prichard police are asking for help in identifying the driver of the pickup.
